Prior to his death in 2006, my husband and I had been talking about having our bathroom remodeled, but we never got around to getting quotes. When I finally decided I would do it on my own, I was somewhat apprehensive. “Mike, I forgot to tell you, during my latest gas billing period, it was one degree colder than the average temperature, and colder than the same time period last year. During the month of February last year, I used 332 CCF of gas. This was an actual read, not an estimate. This February, I used 62 CCF at, again, an actual read. Last year, my gas bill was $444.00 in February, and this year it was $102.00. My home loan cost me about $80.00 a month! I realize the payback savings will slow down as the spring and summer months roll around, but this is incredible!

“I just wanted to share my latest gas bill with you: Last year, my total was $295.00, using approx 250CCF in December 2007. This year, my total was $187.00, using 134 CCF. According to National Fuel averages, the daily temperature was 31 degrees last year, as well as this year. So, temperature shouldn’t have been a factor! We did replace the boiler in January of last year that was 30% more efficient, along with the insulation and windows, etc. that you installed. Our savings were $114.00 compared to last December, with a reduction of approximately 13 CCF used!
Additionally, I wanted you to know that everyone, from Mike T., to JD and Rol, and everyone that we interacted with, were excellent, and should be complimented. They were polite, courteous, conscientious about their work, and took the time to explain what we didn’t understand! We want to wish you and your staff a very Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays. It did not matter what the task. If it needed to get done, it got done and done well. Both are also very loyal to Ivy Lea, and make it easy to see why you have a successful company. I’m old school, and can’t help it. A word to the wise John, take good care of those three guys. They, and others like them, are what a good successful company is built on.
