REQUIRED FOR ALL CONSTRUCTION JOB POSITIONS:

SALES POSITIONS:

Responsibilities include:

  • Develops and maintains relationships with potential and existing clients
  • Applies knowledge of home improvement product features to match products to the needs of clients

Qualifications include:

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and teamwork mindset
  • Thorough understanding of home improvement products and operations with the ability to communicate that information effectively
  • Previous experience in construction, production, or related fields – furniture, home furnishings, flooring, sales, customer service, retail, hospitality etc.
  • Valid Driver License and the ability to travel to clients or potential clients within Erie and Niagara County with company vehicle
  • Basic computer knowledge required
  • NO cold calling

Benefits and Wages:

Income ranging from $50,000 to $150,000 with unlimited earning potential depending on your sales success.  Full benefits include health insurance, dental, retirement, life insurance, paid holidays, sick and vacation.  Monday – Friday, in office requirements.

FIELD POSITIONS:

LEAD MASTER FRAMING CARPENTER

Ivy Lea Construction is looking for a Master Framing Carpenter for residential remodeling and addition projects throughout the Buffalo area. Ivy Lea’s next master framer should have 20+ years of experience in all aspects of residential framing and understand that a framer’s work on a project includes much more than the basic frame of the building. 20+ years of experience is ideal.

Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:

  • Know how to interpret and read from a set of blueprints including understanding the math and calculation needed to achieve the desired result
  • Must be able to be friendly and well-mannered during client communication
  • Must be able to productively manage a 2–3-man crew toward project completion
  • Must be reliable and driven to complete projects within the projected timeline
  • Must be able to effectively use a smartphone
  • Salary ranges from $35 to $45 based on experience

KITCHEN AND BATH FOREMAN

Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in all stages of bath and kitchen remodeling
  • Must have good organizational skills including a clean demo of kitchens and baths
  • Must be well-versed in kitchen and bathroom remodeling including but not limited to, re-working copper plumbing, PEX tubing PVC waste piping, electrical work, and insulation
  • Can you set tile, showers, and bathtubs then IVY LEA wants to talk to you
  • You must also have the solid carpenter skills required to trim doors and windows, hang wall cabinets, and install base cabinets
  • Must be able to hang and finish drywall and then prime and paint it
  • Must have own tools
  • Must have a valid NYS Driver’s License as well as being able to handle the responsibility of driving and maintaining a company vehicle and keeping the vehicle in good order
  • Salary ranges from $25+ based on experience

ROOFING/SIDING INSTALLER

Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience
  • Must have good organizational skills
  • Must be well versed in residential roofing including, 3 in 1 shingles, architectural shingles, and EPDM rubber roofing systems
  • Must have a working knowledge of residential vinyl siding, aluminum siding as well as cedar shake siding
  • Must have a professional attitude with a clean and neat appearance
  • Salary ranges from $20.00 to $30.00 based on experience

KITCHEN AND BATH CREWMAN

Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in all stages of bath and kitchen remodeling
